The Medical Research Future Fund - Emerging Priorities and Consumer Driven Research - 2020 Childhood Cancer Research Grant Opportunity will provide grants of financial assistance to support Australian medical research and medical innovation projects that improve our understanding of the aetiology, biology and progression of cancer in children and adolescents. 

The intended outcome of this grant opportunity is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians by building the evidence base to accelerate development of new options for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in children and adolescents.

The grant opportunity will fund projects in two streams of research:

  • Stream 1 - Cancer in children
  • Stream 2 - Cancer in adolescents

An application may only be submitted to one stream and applicants must specify the research stream to which they are applying in the application.

This grant opportunity is being administered by NHMRC on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health.
